    This is a great list of quotes! Thanks for pulling them together for us. I’m planning on rocking out a bunch of slides using them. You’ve saved me a ton of time.

    The ones I love the best are the proverbs and quotes from Dewey….shows that good learning principles haven’t changed even though the calendar has.

    Thanks! Nice collection, very thought provoking. I just wish I could find a citation for the Dewey quote about “If we teach today’s students…” I really appreciate Dewey, have read several of his books and, like Bill above, I am continually impressed at how “radical” his thinking sounds today (at least in the sense that he is so widely quoted in teacher prep programs yet his ideas are so poorly implemented generally. sigh…) Anyone know where the Dewey quote is from?
